Iqraa Corner is a mom-driven activity dedicated to achieving excellence in Quranic and Arabic learning for school students by encouraging reading Arabic books and literature.
Our Goal
Our goal to to raise our children to know and love the Arabic language through reading Arabic stories. Arabic is the language of the Qur’an and the language those who resides in Jannah, May Allah reside us all in his highest paradise.
Reading Arabic stories is one of the main ways to love and practice the language. It keeps the connection with the Arabic and Islamic culture, it will prepare our children for reading quran and saying Duaa in Arabic and keeps their connection with their Islamic religion. It will bring our kids closer to their Islamic traditions and family members. Very importantly, it will contribute to building their strong identity and personality thy hep them deal with the rapidly evolving world around them.
What we do
1- Arabic story Library: We started Arabic only story library in the second floor of the masjed for Sunday school kids to borrow Arabic stories during their class time and we keep replenishing it every year .
2-Arabic reading log: We encourage the students to read Arabic minimum 10 minutes /day and to keep a reading log of their Arabic reading, to share it with their teachers. We distribute rewards at the end of the year.

5- Annual Qur’an day, for the kids of the Sunday school to show their best in reading quran with the iman of masjed Dar Altaqwa
